2011 SEASON REGISTRATION DATES HAVE BEEN SET! The IFL Jrs. is an indoor football league for youth players between 8 - 14 years of age. All games are held at the Megaplex. Indoor football is known as a fast-paced game that enhances your childs quick reactions and improves their football skills. Your childs experience with an additional football season will certainly give him an advantage outdoors. Player Registration Fees: Widgets - $200.00 Peewee - Heavy - $300.00 For team fee call 708-645-5000. We supply helmet, shoulder pads, thigh, butt, hip pads and uniform. Parents must provide: gym shoes, girdle, practice clothes, & mouth piece. Player Registration Dates: Returning Players - Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 9:00am - 4:00pm New Players- Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 9:00-3:00pm Practices: MPX Teams Practice begins the week of 1/31 st. Each team will be given 1 hour of practice time (field, rink or court) two days per week. Practices are mandatory. Days and times will be provided at a later date. Season games: Widget Division: Games- 2/19-4/9. Widget division plays 8 weeks on Saturdays. Upper Divisions: Games- 2/26-5/7. Ten (10) weeks on either Saturday afternoons or Sundays. Divisions & Weight Limits: Widgets (9U) 3rd & 4th grade- 90 lbs. (Heavies 100) Peewee (11U) 5th & 6th grade- 110 lbs (Heavies 115) Lightweight (14U) 7th & 8th grade- 125 lbs. (Heavies 130) Heavyweight (14U)7th & 8th grade- 170 lbs.
